DOUBLE SPRINGS: Sunday, July 5 - Fireworks display at Christ's Fellowship Church on . There will be a service starting at 6:30 pm after that they will have hamburgers, hotdogs, games for kids following all of this will be the fireworks.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 25 – The Cooperative District of Winston County has received
AdvantageSite designation.
The AdvantageSite program requires that community economic development organizations provide
documentation specific to a proposed industrial site, including a set of standard data related to ownership/
control, environmental and geotechnical conditions, and infrastructure status.

Over 150 entries competed for first place in the recent "Design Our Logo" Contest. Sarah Boyd took first place, accepting $100, a certificate of Recognition and Participation presented by the Winston County Tourism Bureau and the Winston County Arts Council.
